DATE & TIME:
Saturday January 12, 2019: 1:00pm — 1:00am
#135 — 10233 Elbow Dr. SW
On January 12, Imaginary Wars will be running a twelve-hour benefit auction. The proceeds will go to Imaginary Wars to help it support the gaming community that uses the store regularly as a hub for all their gaming and hobby needs.
Imaginary Wars will be the host, handing over its table spaces to a veritable baker's dozen (or more!) of painters who will donate their time towards painting YOUR miniatures for a donation from you towards this cause!
Everyone that has ever had a positive experience at a local gaming store can vouch for how important it is to have a place to game, pick up hobby supplies and connect with other souls in this niche hobby. Game stores contribute to the health of this hobby, and are a key component for a city to have a healthy gaming community.
TO GET YOUR MODEL(S) PAINTED:
The twelve hours of 'Paint or Die' will have their twelve hours of painting split into four-hour blocks.
Choose which painter you'd like to paint your model(s) Painting is by donation Think of the event like a charity auction, where community members will bid on the different painters attending to paint models for them. The proceeds will be donated back into Imaginary Wars to help support the community to continue having a rad place to game that has excellent tables and terrain.
Donate money to get YOUR models painted by our local professional and hobbyist painters!
Acceptable projects for Paint or Die: Single models, busts, squads of 3-5 models and smaller vehicle models as the painters will be dividing their 12-hour painting day into 4-hour blocks for each donation project.
